History

This school was establised during 1967.  The school started its academic functioning from 02 Feb 1967. Late Sorodinini Pul of Village Dakshin Rampur, P.S. – Gaighata was the land donator of the school. She was one of the respected founder personalities of the village.  That time there was no primary school at the village. . Dakshin Rampur FP School is situated at village Rampur of Gaighata Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.  Thereafter till date this school got additional 5 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for boys and girls from SarboSiksha Mission.
