History

1) Bora High School has been established in 1964 by some local persons interested in education which got first recognition as 2 class junior High School (V to VI) in w.e.f.01/01/1965

vide memo no.18722/G dated 8/9/65 of WBBSE.

2) The school recognised as 4 class junior High School (V to VIII) inw.e.f 01/01/1971 vide memo no. 244/jr dated 23/7/71.of WBBSE

3) The school came under full salary deficit grant scheme W. E. F. 1/1/79 vide G.O.no. 2664Edn(s) Dated 21/12/78.of WB

4) The school got co-education permission w.e.f.1/1/1971 vide memo no.695/jr.dated 25/02/72.of WBBSE

5)The school has been upgraded as 6 class (V to X) High School  w.e.f 01/02/2011 vide memo no. S/Recog/2011/38 dated 21/03/2011.of WBBSE
