History

Barah S.C.F.P. School at Barah , THAKURNAGAR aided to W.B.B.P.E. with 73 students and 4 staff members was primarily established with the objective of fulfilling the dreams of children of displaced persons from East pakisthan, now Bangladesh, to be educated through Bengali Medium for the promotion of Bengali tradition and culture.It established by the father of THAKURNAGAR , SHRI P.R.THAKUR who also established the Thakurnagar JANAPADA. The school today, is catering also to the needs of underpriviledged and down trodden sections of society and committed to provide quality education to all.

Aiming at Holistic Education, the school provides perfect Ambience for cultural, emotional and physical and above all human development besides preparing the children for elementary education achieving  with the efforts of committed and dedicated teachers and staff members.
