History

Katakhali R.P. School is a Model Primary school. This school was established on 1st February of 1957. As there was no primary school in the are at that time, two local habitant, named Anil Sardar and Abhilash Hajari donated their land for building this school. First Head Teacher of the school was Shyamapada Dhar who along with two assistant teachers named Ashutosh Debnath and Adhar Saha set the school on successful path.The school developed over years in the hands of many excellent teachers and produced many brilliant students who became established in different sectors.
