The renowned school was founded on 24th January,1954 by a generous distinguished business personality Mr. Ashoke Sen who had donated the land of 35 acres, and built up the building with 7 rooms with his own funding and own planning. The institution is now well equipped with computer lab that offers computer aided learning, play rooms, science lab, library etc. and conducts co-curricular activities like school festivals, sports activities, inter school competition for students and several educational programmes.The eminent Bengali physicist, Satyendra Nath Bose, specialising in theoretical physics, inaugurated the Science Laboarory of the School. At present, more than 1200 students are enrolled at the school under the guidance, affection and supervision of 22 highly qualified teachers in various subjects.
