History

This school was established during 1951.The school started its academic functioning from 2nd Jan 1951. Late Bhabani Sankar Gayen is the founder and land doner.Bipod Bhanjan Biswas was the first Head Master/Teacher In Charge of this school.That time there was no primary school at Manikhira village.At first this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.However, during 1983  W.B Govt built a pakka building of big one room for this school. Thereafter till date, this school got an additional 2 rooms,1 kitchen,2 sets toilets for boys and girls from SarboSiksha Mission.
