History

This school was establised during 1953.  The school started its academic functioning from 01 Apr 1953. Late Hari Charan Sarkar of Village Singjole, P.S. - Gaighata was the first Head Teacher of this school. He was one of the respected founder personality of the village.  That time there was no primary school at the village.  But there was a Junior High School at that locality. Singjole Junior Basic School is situated at village Singjole of Shimulpur Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.  However during 1983 they built a pakka (concrete) building consisting of 4 rooms for this school. Thereafter till date this school got additional 1teachers’ rooms, 1 kitchen, 4 sets of toilets for boys and girls from SarboSiksha Mission.
