History

This school was establised during 1954.  The school started its academic functioning from 24 apr 1954.Late Shibnath bandyopadhyay was the first Head Teacher of this school. He was one of the respected founder personality of the village.  That time there was no primary school at the village.  But there was a High School at that locality.Panchpota FP School is situated at village sutiua of Gaighata Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.  However during  the Sarba Shiksha Mission built a pakka (concrete) building consisting of 3 rooms for this school. Thereafter till date this school got additional 1 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for boys and girls from SarboSiksha Mission.
