History

This school was establised during 1972.  The school started its academic functioning from 08 Feb 1972. Lakshman Mondal of Village Sashadanga, P.S. - Gaighata was the first Head Teacher of this school. He was one of the respected founder personality of the village.  That time there was no primary school at the village.   Sashadanga Colony F.P. School is situated at village Sashadanga of Gaighata Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.  However later here built a pakka (concrete) building consisting of 5 rooms for this school. Thereafter till date this school got additional 5 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for boys and girls from Sarbo Siksha Mission.
