History

This school was established in 1969 and started it's academic function from 16 December 1969.The school got recognition in 1973. ​​​​​​Late Anil Kumar Ghosh donated this land in the name of his mother Late Adarini Ghosh. That this why the name of this school is "Purba Deopul Adarini F.P. School". The school was first run by three honourable teachers named Mohanlal Bakshi, Amal Krishna Chowdhury & Santosh chowdhury. Probadh Ranjan Sur Roy of village Singole, Ps-Gaighata was the first Head Teacher of this school.At that time there was no Primary school in the village.But there was a High school in the locality.Purba Deopul Adarini F.P. School is situated at village Deopul of Gaighata Block in the District North 24 Parganas.At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.However in 2004 Sarba Siksha Mission built a pakka (concrete) building consisting of 4 rooms for this school.There after till date this school got 4 rooms additional 1 kitchen,2 sets toilets for boys and girls from Sarba Siksha Mission.
