History

Jhowdanga Sammilani High School (HS) is a Government sponsored high school,located at Jhowdanga (under Jhowdanga Gram Panchayat) , near India-Bangladesh Border ,  District -North 24 Parganas , State -West Bengal in India. Our school was  established in 1959 on 01-04-1959 .Our school has achieved an enviable reputation in the field of academics as well as extra curricular activities. Joyful learning with Smart Class Room and Social Physical intellectual development of each student are the mission of our school and also available a Smart Auditorium w.e.f January 2020.

Vide Memo No. 2563/2(1)/GA Dated 23.03.1968. The School came under Salary Deficit Scheme w.e.f. 01.05.1972. School Recognised as XII calss H.S. School Vide W.B.C.H.S.E. Memo No. DS(A)SD/214/RECOG/06 Dated 05.07.2006. w.e.f. 2006-2007.
