History

Manabata Sikshayatan High School was established in 1968 in the locality of hridoypur of Barasat municipality. The district North 24 Parganas bi some you very much interested and enthusiastic in education, who took refuge and setteled at hridaypur. Deoghar hills and uprooted from east Pakistan during 5th and 6th decades of the 20century. but they feel the importance of education for the children as well as next generation, hair we cannot but name Shri Gouranga Das, Kali Pada Das and Madhusudan Saha, in the beginning the school was bamboo fenced, in course of time a group of young educated people join their hands with founders of the school and started imparting education without any remuneration. In 1986 the school was recognised as it to class junior High School with class 5 and 6 and in 1987 the school got recognition sa4 classes junior High School with classes 7 and 8.

The school was upgraded to class 3 high school in 2005. In 2019 the school was upgraded to a High secondary School. Now ours is a co-ed High secondary School
