History

Haridasi Bhaktiprana Free Primary School was established in the year 1967 . Initially the name of the school was Sannyasa Prathamik Vidyalaya . Later the school was recognised by the West Bengal Government in the year 1974 .

At the begining there were four teachers including the first Headmaster Mr. Gopi Ranjan Bhowmik .Other three assistant teachers were Mr. Samarendranath Dutta, Mr. Amaresh Chandra Mondal and Mrs. Anju Sinha Roy .

The school land was given by Mr. Ratan Das.Later the school name was changed to Haridasi Bhaktiprana Free Primary School in the honour of the name of his mother Mrs. Haridasi Das.
