Kulakamini Shishu Shikshalaya F P School is a renowned school of Hatiara Barabagan area.The sentiments of the residents at Batabagan have been attached with the establishment of this school. There were near about 300 plot holders who donated the land to build up the local primary school in 1966.Till now this school stands with its reputation. Then Mrs Kulakamini Paul offerred Rs. 500 additionally. The residents decided to dedicate the school as the name of Mrs Kulakamini Paul.  The school got recognition from 24 Parganas District Primary School Council in 1967.Mr Kalipada Sardar was appointed as the first Headmaster of the school. Then the school had no concrete classroom. But there was no shortage of students. The school is developed gradually as the banyan tree which spreads its branches and many learners take their shelters safely.
