History

In 1973 , with the help of some education lovers , an educational institution was established at Khantura uttar para under Gobardanga municipality and its name was given Deshbandhu Prathamik Vidyalaya. The first headmaster of the school donated his own land for this school. Then with the help of other teachers and local people this school was established. At that time there was only a room with tiled roof. At present , this school has taken a crucial role in children education in this locality and with the passage of time , the new building of the school was formed.
