History

The school was founded in 1953 as a junior High School by the pioneers of education and some social reformers. Later, because of the untiring efforts of the local educationists and teachers the school achieved recognition upto class X under the WBBSE in 1967. The student strength increasing from strength to strength. Then, in the auspicious year of 2000, the school achieved attained a further feather in its cap being uplifted to the status of Higher Secondary under WBHSCE having and catering to the students in both the Humanities and Science streams.The school pompously celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 2003 and hopes to celebrate its Golden Jubilee in 2028 to commemorate its golden memoirs to the path of attaining future glory.
