History

 Kanchrapara Udbodhini Madhyamik Vidyapith( High) is a renowned institution of education.  This institution is an amalgated form of previous Udbodhini Junior High School and Shree Vidyapith Junior High School.The amalgamation happened in the year 1990. It is situated at Siraj Mondal Road, Kanchrapara, opposite of Jora Mandir. Tarapada Dey, first headmaster of this institution and Sameer Chatterjee took initiative to give this institution the present form. It is a government sponsored school and comes under West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The surrounding locality looks up to this institution as a centre of academic excellence and guidance to the growing minds of the pupils. Since the date of establishment,  the school continues to provide all kinds of support to the pupils, that may prove helpful for their academic and professional career. The school has sufficient number of classrooms, library, computer room, two halls for conducting cultural and educational activities and many other amenities.  The institution has deep community based relationship and frequently participates in social awareness programmes.  In short, this institution is a pride to the locality and its stakeholders are always eager to impart their duties and are conscious  of its glorious past.
