It says that “necessity is the mother of invention “ and “where there is will, there is way”.
Realizing the afore-said proverb the joint co-operation of education lovers and leaders of labour organisation of the area of Nuddea Mill “ Naihati Anand Swaroop Junior High School “ was established by or under the leadership of Sri Dharmdeo Prasad Yadav in 1970, because the little children had to go either in Gouripore or Kankinara for their admission, they were bound to go there for their study. The junior High School was started in the building of Anand Swaroop Primary School keeping in mind the request of then Managing Committee and the inconveniences of the children of the labours of Nuddea Jute Mill, then General Manager Sri S.N.Guha handed over the total land of Lichubagan Play Ground with the labour welfare Centre to the school by a Deed of Agreement. Instead of acute financial scarcity and other several inconveniences the teachers did not give up their patience and deeply absorbed in their duty. Knowing that the present school is not recognised by the Board of Secondary Education (W.B.) however the guardians used to send their wards or children to the school for their study. As a result of the boundless patience and courage of the then teachers and the guardians after a long gap of 16 years the school got its recognition by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1986. The present building of the school was constructed under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. Because of the continuous endeavour and efforts of the teachers and the guardians the result of the school was satisfactory every year. As a result of that the school got its recognition as Madhyamik (10) in 2001. Again a new responsibility came on the shoulder of the teachers and they performed their responsibility honestly and the result of the school was well and satisfactory every year. Keeping in mind the inconveniences of the Hindi Speaking students the honourable M.L.A. Sri Partha Bhowmik of this area by his incessant efforts make the school getting recognition as Higher Secondary (10 + 2) in 2013.
