History

Makhanlal Vidyapith is an old government sponsored primary school . It was established by some local education loving people . The land for the school was donated by a noble man named Makhanlal Ghosh . It is named after him . In the early years the school had a good reputation with sound number of students , but with the modernization of the education and intention to read in the model schools recently the school has been facing some difficulties with the number of students . In the past the school had hut type bamboo structure , but now it has a pucca building with tin shed . It has electricity also .
