History

Shyamnagar Balika Vidyalaya(Pry) was established in the year 1933. The land for the school was donated by Sri Punin Chatterjee. The then headteacher of the school Smt. Amita Dasgupta arranged for the establishment of a pukka office room and kutcha classrooms for the students.
