History

Deshbandhu F.P.  School is situated at 3 no. Garh Shyamnagar under Shyamnagar Post Office of Jagaddal constituency. It is under Ichhapur Educational Block. Deshbandhu started to work with his teachers and students in 1964. Gradually it has crossed 56 years of glory. There are now three teachers in this school. It is a co-ed Bengali Medium school and it is 6km apart from H.Q. when Deshbandhu started his journey there were no facilities, neither there was electricity nor pure drinking water. Even the building was made of mud. But it has changed its outlooks with passing days. Now our institution is standing with its plastered and coloured building, Not only that, there is electricity and adequate drinking water and books .

We celebrate every occasion spontaneously. MDM is going on. Besides this we celebrate a day as ‘cultural day’  for the children in the month of December. We all hope that our institution will get more and more success in future through its works.
