
Construction of the new building of the school :
Since 1976 till now the school did not have any concrete building. However through the efforts of the honourable chairman of Barrackpore Municipality, Shri Uttam Das, and the respected councillor of Ward no. 18, Mr. Nausad Alam, it became possible for the school to have its own concrete building almost 100 meters behind its old structure.
For the construction of the new building of the school, 2 K 08 Ch of land was donated by the honourable chairman of the Barrackpore Municipality, Shri Uttam Das with the support and helping hand of the respected councillor of Ward no 18, Mr. Nausad Alam in the year 2017. Mr. Nausad Alam also tried for the ACR in the construction of the new building of the school. The construction work of the new building of the school is under process right now. The school is thankful to all the persons involved in its development work, particularly Shri Uttam Das and Mr. Nausad Alam.
Recognition of the school :
An application for recognition of Ali Haidar Primary School was submitted to the Director of Primary Education, New Secretariat Building on 10-04-1982 under the Secretaryship of Md Salim mentioning there was no any Urdu medium school around one km.
The recognition was granted to this school w.e.f 01-01-1983 with relaxation of normal rules having three teachers--(1)Badruzzaman, Head Teacher
(2)Md Sahebjaan, Assistant Teacher
(3)Md Hasan, Assistant Teacher
However, Md Nasimuddin was later approved and appointed as an assistant 4th teacher of the school w.e.f 21-06-1985.
History of Ali Haidar Primary School :
Since G.C.Road, Titagarh is the most populated area of Urdu knowing persons, some like minded people came forward and felt the need to open an Urdu medium school. So, they called a general meeting of the local people to serve the purpose. Thus, on 17-12-1975 at 9:30 a.m. in the building of Anwar Ali, a general meeting was called under the Presidentship of Anwar Ali to open a primary school with Urdu as a medium of instruction in a rented building.
Unanimously it was decided that the name of the school would be Ali Haidar Primary School, and a managing committee consisting of eight members was formed to run the administration of the school. The members of the managing committee are as follows :
1) Md Anwar Ali-- Founder
2) Md Mansoor-- President
3) Md Rasool-- Vice President
4) Md Ismail-- General Secretary
5) Md Zahir-- Assistant Secretary
6) Noor Mohd-- Member
7) Md Shamsuddin-- Member
8) Md Yousuf-- Member
In the next meeting held on 21-12-1975, it was decided to start the school from 2nd of January 1976 in a rented place 37, G.C.Road, Titagarh; and Md Badruzzaman was appointed as a teacher in the school. For increasing the number of students, the committee appointed two more teachers Md Sahebjaan and Md Hasan (Badal Master) who resumed their duties w.e.f 01-03-1976, and Md Badruzzaman was given the responsibility of the Head Teacher of the school. After some years of smooth functioning of the school, the committee appointed Md Nasimuddin also as a voluntary service teacher w.e.f 04-07-1979.
