History

                  ICHAPUR  BIBHUKINKAR HIGH SCHOOL IS THE OLDEST AND TRADITIONAL INSTITUTION  IN THE AREA OF ICHAPUR . A PERSON NAMED ASHUTOSH GHOSH WHOSE ONLY SON BIBHUKINKAR  DROWNS IN KHALSA POND OPPOSITE ICHAPUR POLICE OUT-POST.IN HIS MEMORY FATHER DONATES MOST OF THE LANDS FOR THE  CONSTRUCTION OF SCHOOL BUILDING . BIBHUKINKAR  PATHSHALA  IS BUILT IN THE  MONTH  OF JUNE 1873. DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR THE SCHOOL TURNS INTO ARP CENTRE AND IT IS MOVED TO ANOTHER PLACE. AROUND 1945 THE SCHOOL RUNS AGAIN. THE SCHOOL STARTS ITS JOURNEY AS SECOND CLASS JUNIOR  AND LATER FOURTH CLASS JUNIOR IN 1956. THE SCHOOL  IS UPGRADED TO A MADHYAMIK SCHOOL IN  1959. THE INSTITUTION GOT THE RIGHT TO STUDY OF HIGHER SECONDARY AND THE AFFILIATION OF ARTS , SCIENCE AND COMMERCE STREAMS BUT THE  SCHOOL HAS UPGRADED TO A HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL WITH ARTS, SCIENCE AND COMMERCE STREAMS AS PER EXISTING EDUCATION SYSTEM SINCE 1995. AT PRESENT A LOT OF STUDENTS OF THIS INSTITUTION ARE WELL ESTABLISHED IN DIFFERENT SPHERE OF THE SOCIETY AND THEY  ARE PROVIDING SERVICE IN THEIR OWN FIELD AS A REAL MAN.
