History

Ashokenagar F.P. School was established in 1967. Some local persons needed to spread primary education throughout local areas and outside areas. Inspiring on primary education local people and founder members ,Sri Pramathanath Sutradhar, Rameswar Chakraborty, Basudeb Majumder founded the school.To construct a kachha room Sri K.C.Dasgupta (Administration Officer SQAS ministry of defence)  donated furniture in later.The School was started with one hundred students. The school was recognised on 1st August 1974 and controlled by the department of education government of West Bengal and managed by W.B.B.P.E. The school is situated at Ashokenagar in Ichapore , Barrackpore subdivision,under  north 24 parganas. Now the school has Pakka building, electricity, book corner, drinking water, different toilets for girls and boys students, and surrounded by green big trees. we celebrate all red letter days ( 23rd January, 26th January,15th August, birthday of P.C.Roy, Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindra nath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, etc) .Our students participate in various educational programmes like as Environment day, Pollution Control Day, Tree plantation, Nirmal Vidyalaya Avijan etc. Our students belong from all communities. Our aim is "Unity and Integrity". We all respect and love our school.
