History

The students teacher ratio was 7:1 . The primary medium of instruction is Bengali. The school has given exceptional results in the academic sphere and its students have excelled in the extra co- curriculum activities too. Although the Primary section of this Institution has been closed since eight years. But it is our target to restart the Primary section with innovative designs having Bengali along with English Medium. At present we are facing a great student crisis since few years. Although there were five hundred to six hundred (500-600) students in the years 1980's ( Reported). 

HISTORY :-

The school takes pride of it's excellent teaching methodology. The buildings was Kachcha at the time of its establishment. But it turns into Pucca building in the 1997. The school is recognised as two class in the year 1964,four class in 1965 and finally it is recognised as High School in the year 1967. It is the High school on substantive basis in 2007 and came under the Grant-in-aid scheme in 1972.Most of the student came from very poorer family from the beginning. It is the heart of the local area namely Lenin Nagar, Debitala and its neighbouring places.
