History

SUKANTA SMRITI GSFP SCHOOL has started its journey way back in 1983 by Smt. Dipti Roy Chowdhury who later became the head mistress of the school. She, with the help of the then Member of Parliament of Barrackpore, made it possible to have a pucca building for the school. The process of modification started again in 2012 and presently the school has electric connection, tap water facility, separate toilet for boys/ girls/ staff. Also, the whole building of the school was painted and maintained that way which was made possible by the constant efforts of the present teaching staff. As there is no upper limit of progress and development, the same is being continued for upgradation of the school.
