History

BARRACKPORE CANTONMENT VIDYAPITH was established in 1976 and it is managed by the Department of Education. It is located in the BARRACKPORE CANTONMENT area of NORTH TWENTY FOUR PARGANAS district of West Bengal. It is a Hindi medium co-educational school and consists of grades from V to XII. It got recognized as Jr. High School in 1980, as secondary in 1996 by WBBSE and as Higher Secondary in 2000 by WBCHSE, The school is approachable by all-weather roads. It is a reputed school in Barrackpore.
