Khardah Shibnath High School ,Barrackpore ,North 24 Pgs,Kol 117 was established in 1928 as one of the oldest school of the West Bengal.The school situated near the bank of river Hooghly.The famous SHYAMSUNDAR JIUR Temple is at a stones throw distance from here.This location is known as MINI VINDABAN.Once upone a time load Shree Nityananda Prabhu  & Rabindra Nath Tagore settled in a thatched hut here.The primary medium of institution is Bengali and the student teacher ratio is 20:1.The school takes pride of its  excellent teaching methodology.Students from 5 to 12 are  taught in this Higher Secondary school.The keynote of this school is KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.
