History

The school  was stated  in 1967 by opening classes V to VII. Then the Headmaster was Prahllad Chowdhury. He was  a respected person of that area. Class VIII was opened in 1968. It got recognition of the W.B board of Secondary Education as a 4 class junior high school for two years w.e.f 1.01.1971. ( memo no. 1600/jr dated 19.04.72) Extention of recognition as a 4 Class jr. high school was also granted beyond 31.12.1972 ( memo no. 153/jr dated 24.01.1973)
