History

Adhunik Sikshalaya-H is a Hindi medium free primary co.ed. school recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal. This Institute was founded in the year 1969 to provide basic education to the children. Initially, this school was running in a rental house at Narendra Nagar, near Dunlop under the district N 24 PGS. The school was thereafter shifted to the premises of Samhati Vidyapith w. e. f. 2005 during day shift from Monday to Saturday at the campus of Govt. Quarter, 9 B.T. road, Belghoria that provides a peaceful location ideal for imparting value education among students. It is also conveniently located due to it's close vicinity from B.T. road.

The school building is a 2-storied one having a playground in front of it for recreation of its little hearts. The upstair floor of this building was constructed at a later stage for the use of Kamarhati Circle office. 

Adhunik Sikshalaya-H is having 5 classes from Pre-Primary to IV at present. Students get free text books, uniform, shoes and mid-day meal as per Govt. Schemes.This school is well equipped with a good collection of story and interesting books suiting the tender minds of little hearts in it's library. It is also having a good collection of playing equipments for both indoor and outdoor games required for the all round development of students.Moreover it is the one and only free primary school under ward no.17 of Kamarhati Municipality. We aim to provide good quality modern education including inculcation of values, awareness of the environment and physical education to the talented children.
