History

Uttaran Prathamik School is a renowned school a Belghoria. The school was established in 1960 but it was recognized as a Government school in the year 1964. The first head teacher of this school was Late Sri Pran Gopal Chakroborty. Braja Madhuridi, Bhabanidi, and Niranjan sir taught at their time. The school building was not decorated at that time, but the school was shifted to another building in 2006 and the new building is now in good condition with rooms, verandah, one kitchen and well maintained toilet (prepared by CLPOA in 2007).
