History

Mahendranath Sishu Vidyalaya (Co-ed) was founded in 2nd January, 1939. The school got registration in 3rd May, 1956 from WB Govt Education Department. The land of school was donated by Mahendranath Sadhukhan family. It was donated in the name of Alambazar Mahendranath High School (Only Boys) was registered on 3rd February, 1953. The area of land is more than 11 kattah. There was also a girls school whose name was Mahendranath Girls Junior High School (Now Closed).
