History

ASHOKEGARH ADARSHA VIDYALAYA FOR BOYS is situated at BARANAGAR,NORTH KOKATA.IT WAS ESTABLISHED IN THE YEAR 1957 BY ASHOKEGARH PARISHAD.

In a land donated by Industrialist Late M.R.Bangur,

at first a Primary School was founded by members

of the Parishad.Gradually,It developed into a

Secondary Institution in the year 1961.The H.S

affiliation came in 1999.The School ASHOKEGARH

ADARSHA VIDYALAYA (CO-ED)was bifurcated into 

two seperate Institutions in 2001,namely..

ASHOKEGARH ADARSHA VIDYALAYA FOR BOYS

and ASHOKEGARH ADARSHA VIDYALAYA FOR

GIRLS.

At present, ASHOKEGARH ADARSHA VIDYALAYA

FOR BOYS run at the old address 61,ASHOKEGARH,

P.O I.S.I,Kolkata-700108.

The School was transformed into a GOVERNMENT SPONSORED IINSTITUTION by School Education Dept. Govt of West Bengal in the year 2013.

The INSTITUTION observed it's GOLDEN JUBILEE in

the years 2006-2007 and DIAMOND JUBILEE in the

years 2016-2017.
