History

Our school was started as co-educational institution in the late 1950's. From the pertinent  thought  of establishing a girls' school to encourage women education in Bengal our school set it first foot on 1965 with the initiative and effort of  Sri HariKanta Roy, Trailakyanath Dasgupta,Gopal Chandra Nandi , Narendranath Roy , Himangshu Kumar Sarkar, Satyendranath Biswas , Santosh Chandra Karmakar, Sabitava Sen Mazumder . On 1st January, 1966 it had got its initial recognition as 4 Class Junior High School. The glorious journey had reached it vertex on 1st January,1972 when it succeeded to gain its secondary status. Sri Susil Ranjan Acharya served our school as secretary for a long period and rendered selfless service to the school. The struggle of establishing our own building is still a long-cherished dream which is yet to achieve.
