History

This esteemed institution was established by some renowned and respectable resident of Ayodhyanagar, Birati, North Dum Dum in the year 1972. The main architects of this school were Shri Dhruba Dutta, Shri Baidya Nath Chakrobaorty and Shri Ruplal Halder. The school Bishnupada Prathamik Vidyamandir named after the name of land lord Shri Bishnupada Karmakar. The school was first started on 3rd April 1972 with some local children. There were some local teachers appointed by the local people, they were Shri Nalini Kanta Saha as Head Teacher and other assistant teachers were Shri Ujjal Dutta, Shri Sankar Chakraborty, Smt Pratima Majumdar. These four teachers were made a vital role for the school proceedings since its inception. After near about 3 Years, the school finally got Government affiliation on 1st January 1975. In the time of school affiliation, those teachers got their permanent teaching job from Govt. Since its inception this school is maintaining good reputation in providing quality education and over all development of the students.
