History

Nimta Ishan Chandra Balika Vidyalaya was founded by Late Ishan Chandra Chattopadhyay.Ishan Chandra established one girls school.During 1961-1962 the school started functioning with a few girl students which was approved in 1963 as class vi standard Institution.After sad demise of Ishan Chandra his son HIron Chattopadhyay developed the school which was approved upto class viii in 1968.During his lifetime Ishan Chandra donated vaccant land to Primary and Secondary section of this school.Later on with the financial assistance of teachers,staffs,and sympathisers of nearby schools and people present school building was constructed and started functioning from 1989.In 2000 the school was approved as High School.Due to 32 years delay to upgraded as high school role strength of the school decreased rapidly which is still continuing.
