History

This school was established during 1962.The school started its academic functioning from 21 st december 1966.Late Ganandra ch. Dey of village Majherhati p.s-Nimta was founded in this school Late Joytirmoy Dey of village Majherhati p.s-Nimta was the first Head teacher of this school.He was one of the respected founder personality of the village.That time there was no primary school at the village .But there was a Majherhati Junior high school at that locality.AT the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.However during 1968 the local people bulit a pakka(concrete) building consisting of 5 rooms for this school.There after till date this school got additional rooms of kitchen,2 sets toilet for boys and girls from Sarbo Shikha Mission.
