
The school was stablished in 1965 on a land of 10.5 katha, donated by local social worker named Jagadish Chandra Nag. Initially class 5(v) to class 10(x) was started by some organisers. Later it was recognised as class 5(v) to class 8(viii) junior High School. Simultaneously a girls school Kadambini Balika Vidyalay Junior High School was running to its attachment. In 1995 the girls and boys School were amalgamated to Dum Dum Jawaharlal Nehru Vidyapeeth( co-ed high) up to class 10(x). Now the school is running with Automotive and Retailing sector for class 9(ix) and class 10(x)
