Dumdum Sarvodaya Balika Vidyapith was established as a secondary school on 12th of February,1958 between Dumdum Nagerbazar and Lake town near Diamond City North by the efforts of some generous people with the object of spreading value of education among economically backward girl children. Gradually with the passing of time this school has got it's unique identity by setting a strong work ethic and shared responsibility among the staffs.
