History

Situated in South Dum Dum, Shyamnagar High School is a Bengali Medium secondary school for boys. The school started its journey in 1967.Though not a centre of excellence,the school persistently remains committed to disseminating education mainly among the boys from under-privileged section of the society.Apart from academic activities,the school regularly organises various cocurricular events.All the significant days of national importance are observed with due enthusiasm and solemnity.Facing many hurdles,the school doesn't give up hope for a better future.
