The promotion and dissemination of women's education is, of course, a duty for the welfare of the country as well as for all.
Inspired by this great idea, after the establishment of Krishnapur Refugee Co-operative Colony, a girls' section was established in 1954 to improve the education of girls along with the introduction of boys' school. The school was recognized as a Junior / High School in 1957. The school was named "Krishnapur Adarsha Vidyamandir For Girls".
At first, due to lack of space, the school started its journey with a small number of students in a house made of mat in the premises adjacent to the temple. In 1959, classes were taken as a morning school in the house built for the boys' section. After receiving Government approval, the school was recognized as a Secondary School in 1963 and a Higher Secondary School (class XI) in 1967. The school was established as a Day School in its own building in 1977. In 1999, the school was again upgraded to a Higher Secondary School (class XII).
