In the beginning years the teachers served this institution without any salary,the school building was a kachcha one and had a very small campus.

Now it is a respectable institution in New Barrackpore.

First Headmistress of this institution was Smt.Ranu Chattopadhyay followed by Smt Gita Srimani who has tried enormously to improve the reputation of this school and now Smt. Runa Chattopadhyay is toiling hard to improve the overall status of the school.

Contribution of Asit Ranjan Biswas (secretary for two decades) for the development of this school is worth mention.
