Basirhat Hari Mohan Dalal Girls' High School was founded by the renowned nun Sree Sree Gouri mata ji, in 1918 as only one girls school at Basirhat. Then it was just a sapling. At present it is one of the best girls school in this Sub-Division both in quality and quantity.
