History

This school was established in 1954. This school started its academic functioning on 04^thFebruary, 1954..Kenaram Mondal was one of the respected personalities of the village named Harishpur in Basirhat.The great man was the founder of the school named Harishpur Pallimangal Path bal situated at the village Harishpur in Basirhat Municipality under the district North 24 pgs.The school was established by him in 1954 and started on 4th February in this year.He was very interested to spread education among the women.To support women education Kenaram Mondal established the school in Harishpur. At the time of its foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building. Later in 2005 ,with the financial grants from the SarvaSiksha Mission, a pakka building consisting of a verandah,  four rooms, two sets of toilets for boys and girls each and a kitchen was constructed
