Arbalia Balika Vidyalaya (High) is one of the prestigious schools of the Baduria Circle . It was established on 24th January 1948 . The school has got its present modern version by the efforts of eminent educationists of Arbalia like Bankimchandra Nag and others . The institution has taken a leading role in imparting wemen education for the nearby villages like Arbalia , Baikara , Dakshindeara , Raghunathpur and so on .
It was recognised as a two class junior high school on 2nd April 1960 and then upgraded to a four class junior high school on 19th March 1965 . It was futher upgraded to a class ten high school on 1st January 1978.
