History

Taki S.L. Girls' High School is the only girls' school in Hasnabad block As well as in Taki Municipality. Taki is a renowned place situated on the bank of the river Ichamati which flows between India and Bangladesh.In 1852 some person interested in education established an institute for girl student at Taki with active finantial help of the zamindars of Taki.The primary School got affiliation for W.B.B.S.E. in 1956. The H.S. Education was started in 1988.
