History

The name of this school l is Helan Saradamoni Balika Vidyalaya(H.S).this school was  founded in 1958.it is situated by the Helan bazaar road at village Helan subdivision Arambagh in the district of Hooghly.It is an ideal school. It has 1000 students and 17 teachers,4 para teachers,1 librarian ,1 clerk and 1 group –D staff and also the Head mistress. It is a govt. sponsored  higher secondary school . This school is housed in a three storied building. There are 21 class rooms. Each class has  80 students .This class rooms are airy and spacious. This school has a satisfactory   water supply arrangements. This School provided for various co-curricular   activities like sports ,cultural programmed, publication of magazine social service like tree plantation. Various  type of workshop  and  can rally publication of wall magazine saraswati puja ,celebration of  independence  day ,republic day ,even excursion tour etc.There is a library on the first floor  .It is equipped with a number of books above 1000.There are 5 laboratories i.e. physics, chemistry, Biology ,Geography ,Nutrition. These  are equipped with necessary instruments .We have also computer lab 80% students involve in computer programmed. Recently we have also include in ICT project .We are going to introduce science stream in H.S section.We will try to improve are school in deferent way.
