
In the late year of 1960, three brothers from village of Tara (Khadu Dhara, Methar Dhara, Guiram Dhara) gave the opportunity to start an organizer school in the corridor of their house. A few days later, the three brothers donated 09 satak fields in Tara Mouza on Dag No. 910 for the construction of the school and LAT. 22.773498 N & LON 88.060231 S. The villagers established Tara Primary School with earthen walls on that land. On 1 December 1961, the school received the approval of the Government of West Bengal.(Memo no: 209/48, Date: 01-12-1961). After a few years, the school has become a pucca house with the help of the villagers and a government grant of three hundred rupees. In the two financial years 2005-06 and 2006-07, two new class rooms were created for getting two ACRs. Two classrooms have been restructured with the help of V.E.C members in the two financial years 2010-11 and 2018-19 to get approval for major repair works. In the year 2013-14, a class room was constructed by Jangipara Panchayat Samiti from I.M.D.P fund. The number of classrooms is now 5. Readings are taught from pre-primary to class-IV.
