Khandakshetra Primary School was established in 1979 at Village Khandakshetra of Pashpur Post Office under Jangipara West Circle of Hooghly District Primary School Council.
The first Head Master was Jubaraj Sar who started the school with 15 students in an earthen room shaded with straw and bamboos.
After him Panchanan Bandyopadhyay took the charge of Head Master & stayed for a few years.Then Mukunda Pal & after him Sanatan Ghosh took this charge. After Sanatan Babu, Nishith Baran Chakraborty was the Teacher In Charge.After him Sir Tapas Sil took the charge of Head Master in 2007 & still now he is on duty. The other two teachers are Kalyan Bhattacharyya & Malay Karu.
