History

Dabra High Madrasah is almost a century old educational institution which was established in the village Dabra under Pandua block in the district of Hooghly in 1927. It was recognised as a junior high madrasah by West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education with memo number 3052 dated 13/11/1965. It was upgraded to a secondary High madrasah following the curriculum of West Bengal Board of madrasah education on 13/10/ 1992. Almost 55% students of this institution belong to minority community and 45% students belong to SC and ST communities.
